How I help

The support follows the problem, not the other way around.

There are three broad pathways: clarify what is actually wrong, resolve something already identified, or continue with strategic support alongside the business. They are pathways, not a ladder. You are not expected to work out which one you need before we speak.

Everything begins the same way: a short, free, no-pressure Intro Call. We talk through what the business needs and whether there is a fit before deciding what, if anything, should happen next.

Clarify

Strategic Growth Diagnostic

For founders with more opportunities than capacity, and uncertainty about what deserves attention first. The Diagnostic looks underneath the visible symptoms to identify the highest-leverage next step: where time, money and energy will have the greatest immediate commercial impact.

  • What is genuinely holding growth back beneath the visible symptoms
  • The commercial priority that unlocks the next phase of growth
  • Where time, money and energy will have the greatest impact
  • What should be paused or deprioritised
  • A prioritised 90-day direction with sequencing and rationale
  • Greater confidence in the decisions you make next

Resolve

Focused Commercial Engagements

When the underlying issue is already sufficiently clear, the work can move directly into a focused engagement designed to resolve that specific commercial problem. These are examples of the work that falls into this pathway, not a fixed menu the founder must choose from or diagnose alone.

  • Commercial positioning and messaging
  • Customer and market clarity
  • Offer architecture
  • Founder visibility and thought leadership
  • Customer-led content strategy
  • Sales and marketing alignment
  • Go-to-market or channel direction
  • A focused commercial audit or strategic project

Fractional Marketing Leadership

For founders who need senior marketing leadership in the business without hiring a full-time marketing director. I work alongside you as a fractional marketing lead: setting direction, keeping marketing anchored to commercial priorities, and getting the right work done, with hands-on implementation where it is needed. In practice, that means a regular rhythm of working sessions, challenge and decision support between them, and reviews against commercial objectives. I work with your internal team or external partners, so the people doing the work have clear direction and one coherent story to follow. Where the business needs judgement more than hands-on leadership, the same support can be lighter: ongoing strategic advisory, a thinking partner outside the day-to-day who helps pressure-test decisions and keep priorities in focus.

  • Marketing direction and leadership, anchored to commercial objectives
  • Hands-on implementation support where needed
  • Regular working sessions, with challenge and decision support between them
  • Collaboration with your internal team or external partners
  • Reviews against commercial objectives
  • A lighter strategic advisory option when judgement matters more than hands-on input

A note on order

Why the problem decides the engagement.

Most of the wasted budget I see in founder-led businesses isn't the result of poor execution. It's the result of excellent execution applied to the wrong priority.

Some founders arrive knowing exactly what is unresolved. Others only know that something has stopped working. Both are reasonable places to start, and they call for different work. Diagnosing a problem that is already clear wastes time; resolving a problem that hasn't been properly identified wastes more.

So the Intro Call comes first, and the engagement follows from what it uncovers. Nothing is compulsory, and no route is a prerequisite for another.

Intro Call

You do not need to diagnose the problem before we speak.

A short, free, no-pressure qualification conversation to understand what the business needs and whether there is a fit. From there, we can establish whether the right next step is the Diagnostic, a focused engagement, fractional leadership, or no engagement at all.
